HoodEngage iOS P8 Push Support, Versioning Improvements & Account Security Updates

This release brings a cleaner iOS push setup, easier control over configuration versions, stronger account security options, and several quality-of-life improvements across the platform.

Features

• iOS Push: APNs P8 Token Support
  You can now configure iOS push using Apple’s modern P8 token method, which simplifies setup and removes the need for managing individual P12 certificates. P8 is now the default option, with a simple toggle available if you prefer to use P12.

  

  With this update, you can upload your P8 file directly and have it instantly prepared for use, switch between P8 and P12 using an intuitive UI control, and configure push for each iOS app inside its container without extra steps.

  This brings a faster, cleaner onboarding experience for iOS push and reduces long-term certificate maintenance.

• Ocamba Auth Improvements (Invitations & Password Updates)
  We’ve strengthened the core account flows across sign-in, workspace onboarding, and credential management.

  You can now explicitly reject workspace invitations, and once rejected, they will no longer appear or be usable. Password changes are now fully supported via API with clear, user-friendly validation feedback. All authentication updates include protection against misuse and clear audit visibility.

  These updates ensure safer and more transparent account management throughout the platform.

• Account Security: Updated Password Experience on Web
  All password-related forms across the Ocamba website now share a unified, clearer experience.

  Enhancements include a real-time password strength indicator (Weak → Strong), helpful hints showing which requirements are still missing, improved alignment and spacing across forms, and a dedicated Ocamba badge showing when your account uses email/password authentication.

  This ensures a consistent and reassuring experience when setting or changing credentials.

• Reports: New Resubscriptions Metric
  The Push Stats report has been expanded with a new resubscriptions metric, giving you better insight into users who returned after previously unsubscribing.

  What’s new: a dedicated metric showing how many users resubscribed, a new timestamp field (push_resubscription_time) showing when each user resubscribed, and both elements are filterable and sortable.

  Data follows the behavior of the current daily snapshot system.
  This helps you understand long-term user engagement more clearly.

• Reports: Refresh Button
  A new Refresh button has been added to Reports so you can reload analytics instantly, without reselecting your filters or date ranges.

  
  

Improvements

• Studio Improvements (Design Tools & Components)
  Studio templates and design controls received several refinements to improve clarity and usability.

  RGB values are now easy to read across all themes. Padding & margin inputs work smoothly without +/- buttons. “Component Spacing” and “Radius” sections now look correct in light theme. A dedicated Reset Padding action restores defaults instantly. Select fields display text cleanly in all sizes.

  A Reset Color option lets you revert to default text/background colors. The Line component is more visually consistent across themes.
  These updates make designing in Studio more predictable and pleasant.

• Platform Reliability: Cron Job Severity
  Cron job behavior is now clearer and more reliable. Critical jobs will block startup if they fail, ensuring system stability, while non-critical jobs simply log errors and allow the service to continue. Every job now logs a clear “starting” entry for easier monitoring.

  
  

Bug Fixes

• Audience Profiles: Long list names now stay inside their preview box
  Improved layout behavior so long list names no longer overflow outside their container.

• Campaigns: Draft deletion no longer prompts “Save as draft”
  Deleting a draft instantly removes it and returns you to the campaigns list, matching the behavior of other statuses.

• Studio: Select fields now fully aligned
  Fixed minor alignment issues where selected text could appear misplaced in certain themes.
